There is one swimming dam on the farm. Guests swim and picnic through the warm months with the valley laid out around them.
The dam is not lifeguarded. Swimming is at your own risk, and parents and guardians are responsible for children near the water at all times.
EnquireEnd the day with the slow part of the evening: a braai outside, the fire lit, cottage lights low and the Overberg sky going properly dark.
Ask what is available at your cottage during your stay and we will confirm practical details before arrival.
See the Cottages

Once the farm lights are low, the sky opens up. Pull a chair onto the stoep, bring a blanket and let the children see what darkness outside the city really looks like.
Clear nights are best; warm layers help.
Ask us about hot tub setup, firewood and what is available during your stay.
The dam is not lifeguarded. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times near the water.
Overberg evenings get cold even in summer — which is exactly what makes fires and hot tubs worth it.
Book a cottage with the farm dam for daytime swims and a quiet evening back at your cottage.
